MICRONEEDLING IN STATEN ISLAND

Microneedling sometimes called micro-channeling is a variant of Mesotherapy and the Vampire Facial. It creates tiny holes/pores in the skin that the body then tries to repair through normal healthy healing. This process creates newer, younger, healthier looking skin. To further aid this process, stem cell growth factors are applied into the newly created channels. These act to boost the creation of younger skin cells.

We use ProCell for our serum and needles.

They have one of the highest concentrations of serum, and deepest needles available in the US. These concentrations are only available through doctors offices, and the serums used by aestheticians, are usually less than 1/2 of this concentration.

The needles are also of a depth that is only available to licensed MD’s.

IS MICRONEEDLING SAFE?

While it does cause breaks in the skin, this is a safe procedure that is similar to dermabrasion. As long as adequate hygiene is maintained for several hours after, no complications are seen from this procedure.

HOW LONG IS THE TREATMENT?

The treatment itself is 20 to 30 minutes, however, because of the need for numbing cream prior to the procedure and a soothing mask after the procedure, the treatment usually takes between 45 minutes to an hour and a half.

HOW LONG UNTILL YOU CAN SEE THE RESULT?

Some of the results will be visible that same day, however, it will begin to fade by the end of the next day. The majority of the result will be seen in 3 to 4 weeks after the procedure, and you will continue seeing improvement over the next several months. That is why we try to do the procedures one month apart so that you may see the effect of each procedure
